
It's depends on how you approach this mountain. If you do a trekking mode, the jungle must be the hardest part. But trekking mode offers incredible views that are difficult for you to find elsewhere.
If you use a helicopter to reach the base camp, you will not find a single tree. Jungle is not your challenge. Altitude could be an issue, but adequate training plus experience can greatly help to overcome this problem.
When the weather is clear, climbing to the summit will be very pleasant. The weather is hot, but the wind is cold. But in bad conditions (which often happens), you will experience rain, snow, and hail in one day climb. That could be the toughest challenge to reach the top of Carstensz Pyramid.
